Firefox 2 is out

My script worked; if you heard Song 2 by Blur down the hall, you know Firefox 2.0 is out now. Woohoo!

(I finally discovered a code snippet host: http://www.bigbold.com/snippets/.)

Back to the original purpose of this post: FF 2.0. I’ve disposed of all add-ons save:

And all the search engines had to go, in favor of Yubnub, which can search all of them.

The tabs sure work better, preferences are easier to manage. Greasemonkey handles a lot of things for which I would need extra add-ons. For example, the Download video and BlockFlash user scripts.

The Event Handler

I just got a working test of the basic event handling system. Yippee! It’s so customizable. I’m including just one shot of the test (which is editable to test a few things), because there is currently no host for my project (codename MUDbert).
